During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top business apps on the Android platform in Egypt demonstrated a variety of performance trends in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.

Zoom Workplace showed a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at around 58.7K in mid-October and maintaining a steady range between 45K and 55K towards the end of the quarter. Active users ranged from approximately 360K to 430K, with a consistent increase observed throughout the period. The app generated minimal revenue, with the highest weekly revenue recorded at $4 in early November.

Konnash: Bookkeeping App experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting from about 22K in late September and reaching over 61K by mid-December. The app's active user base mirrored this growth, increasing from around 51K to 109K by the end of December. Despite the substantial user engagement, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

My NTRA saw a dramatic spike in downloads at the beginning of November, with over 218K downloads in the first week. However, this number dropped sharply to around 13K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 211K and decreasing to approximately 57K before rebounding to 168K in the last week of December. The app did not report any revenue during Q4.

Microsoft Teams showed a steady performance in weekly downloads, beginning at about 14.6K in late September and peaking at around 47K in mid-October. Active users increased consistently from 35K to about 96K in mid-November, before stabilizing around 88K by the end of December. The app did not generate any revenue during the quarter.

LinkedIn: Jobs & Business News maintained a stable download rate, ranging from 13.5K to 16.5K throughout the quarter. Active users remained strong, fluctuating between approximately 710K and 774K. The app saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.2K in mid-December.
